Tree House on Tap in Hampden & Northampton!

ON TAP MONDAY: THREE FROM THE TREE!

McLadden’s will be tapping three – that’s right, THREE! – phenomenal brews from Monson’s very own Tree House Brewing Company! Joins us at our Massachusetts pubs in both Hampden and Northampton as we introduce two brand-spanking new offerings along with a chocolate-heavy batch of That’s What She Said!

PRESENT MOMENT  American Pale Ale, 5.4% ABV

A new American Pale Ale brewed with buckets (literally) of Southern Hemisphere hops. Pours a gorgeous hazy yellow in the glass & gives off aromas of juicy fruit gum, pineapple, & passionfruit. The flavors follow suit with a big punch of young pineapple, grapefruit, & orange rind, even a bit of cantaloupe. A vibrant beer...Subsist in the moment!

LIGHTS ON  American Pale Ale, 5.6% ABV

A modern American Pale Ale brewed to celebrate a new beginning at Tree House! Pours a gorgeous hazy orange in the glass, releasing an aroma filled with a bounty of sweet fresh fruit. Tastes of papaya, guava, & mango - a fresh and distinctive flavor profile that’s wholly Tree House. Buoyed by a soft & fluffy mouth-feel, Lights On is a delight to drink. We’re excited to share it with you!

THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID  Milk Stout, 5.6% ABV

A sneakily complex beer, "TWSS" exhibits flavors of milk chocolate, dark roasted coffee, caramel, & even a hint of smoke. It is absolutely loaded with flavor for a 5.6% beer, & the inclusion of Lactose takes the edge off of the dry, roasty notes found in a typical stout. The adult chocolate milk shake. . . with this batch being very chocolate heavy! A beer that is notorious for converting ‘pale’ beer lovers to the dark side!

What Your Beer Says About You

We got a kick (and quite a few chuckles) out of this piece by Kevin Alexander and Matt Lynch over at thrillist.com. Here's a small sample:

Pale Ale You’re one of those people whose friends are like, “You’re 33 years old, how the hell have you never tried olives?!” You start to get into new bands right before the “they’re too popular now” backlash. You don’t understand why people are ALL about these pale ales from India when there are plenty of great domestic breweries deserving of support.

Stout You despise working out and consume pork products with a reckless abandon that says, “Screw you, pigs”. You shave as little as possible. You have covered a dirty plate with aluminum foil in place of washing it on multiple occasions. You take really, really great naps.
